NACFB announces departure of CEO, Graham Toy

A statement from NACFB Chair, Paul Goodman:

“COVID-19 has presented challenges for many organisations, both nationally and internationally, and the NACFB is no exception. The Association has reacted quickly and decisively in changing internal structures to ensure that we could continue to offer value for Members and Patrons in a world which continues to exhibit dramatic change, one where the new normal is yet to emerge.

“Whilst we are delighted that we continue to benefit from strong support from Members and Patrons, the Association needs to plan for the potential of harsher times and be in a position to deal with the complexity and the unknowns we all may face.

“The Association has therefore fundamentally redesigned its operating model to ensure longevity and to maintain our position as the professional Association of choice for all our Members and Patrons.

“Part of this redesign has involved reviewing the structure of our team to ensure we can deliver our future goals moving forward. These are always painful decisions – even more so in the current climate – and reluctantly we are saying goodbye to our CEO, Graham Toy.

“Many of you will know Graham and we are sure you will join us in extending our heartfelt thanks for all his hard work and dedication to the NACFB over the last three years. There is no doubt that the Association has benefitted greatly from his experience, insight, and leadership which has been evidenced by the significant strides the trade body has made since he joined us.

“We all wish him well with his future career in the industry.”

There will be no additional statements at this time.
