Respected awards return to recognise broking excellence
The 2024 shortlist for the highly anticipated NACFB Commercial Broker Awards has been revealed. Returning for the fifth time, the awards, devised by the National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) have already gained recognition as one of the industry’s few awards dedicated to brokers, acting as a counterpart to the NACFB’s well-established Commercial Lender Awards.
This year, competition heated up as nearly 300 applications were received across 17 categories. Experts in their respective fields, the judges were tasked with carefully reviewing the submissions, assessing each against clearly defined criteria based on excellence, innovation and a commitment to delivering the highest industry standards.
Following this rigorous process, the successful brokers in each category can now be revealed as:

Voting process
From tomorrow, NACFB lender Patrons and supplier Partners will be invited to select their preferred shortlisted broker in each category. With a weighting towards the judges’ expert considerations, the results will be determined by combining the judges’ insights with the selections from the Association’s Patrons and Partners.
Awards ceremony
The winners will be revealed at an award ceremony which returns to Emirates Old Trafford (Lancashire County Cricket Ground), Manchester on Friday 13th September 2024. Guests can expect a welcome drink upon arrival followed by a fun-filled afternoon of entertainment and networking, a delectable three-course meal with wine, and of course, the big reveal. This year, the awards will be presented by a very special guest – a household name known for their own personal excellence journey. Full details will be announced soon.
Encouraging all entrants to attend, Norman Chambers said: “It’s an afternoon devoted to recognising and celebrating broking excellence, not just of the award winners and those lucky enough to be shortlisted, but of all the trade body’s commercial finance brokers whose professional dedication to supporting SMEs in their quest for finance is second to none.”
Tickets to the ceremony are currently available at an exclusive early bird rate for NACFB Member brokers only, priced at £105 +VAT each. This rate is valid until Monday 12th August 2024, after which tickets for NACFB Members will be available at £190 +VAT. At this time, tickets for NACFB Patrons and Partners will also be made available at £210 +VAT each. Bookings for tables of 10 are available across all ticket options. Each ticket includes a welcome drink upon arrival, all entertainment, a delectable three-course meal, and half a bottle of wine per person.
