Registration opens for NACFB Commercial Finance Expo 2024

The UK’s largest trade show for commercial finance intermediaries returns in June

LONDON, Tuesday 13th February 2024: The highly anticipated NACFB Commercial Finance Expo is set to return to Hall 3A of the NEC, Birmingham on Wednesday 26th June 2024. Finance professionals are invited to register for free today.

Now in its 14th year, the flagship event caters to brokers and professionals working in commercial finance and is ideal for both seasoned intermediaries and those looking to access the industry.

Free to attend, 80% of the 140 exhibition stands have already been snapped up by high street and challenger banks as well as specialist lenders offering the full spectrum of commercial lending solutions designed to enable small business growth. Other exhibitors include industry suppliers selected for the value they add to the modern commercial finance broker and their clients.

Commenting on the popularity of the NACFB Expo, Becky McGarrity, the trade body’s events manager, said: “We are expecting all the exhibition stands to sell out in the next few weeks. Priority booking is given to the Association’s Patron lenders and Partner service providers. We are now working our way through the long waiting list of other funders and suppliers hoping to exhibit.”

Returning to exhibit in 2024 is NACFB Patron and headline sponsor NatWest. Sarah David, marketing lead for commercial and institutional marketing at NatWest said: “The NACFB Expo is a ‘must’ for both funders and brokers. A staple of the commercial lending calendar, it brings together the majority of the industry under one roof to meet both new connections and long-standing colleagues and friends. It is rare to see so many people come together with a view to supporting our UK SMEs.”

Feedback from the 2023 show found that 87% of delegates said they would return, with many saying they planned to stay for the entire day.

As registration opened, NACFB Chair, Paul Goodman, said: “The show is always extremely busy, so I encourage would-be attendees to register in advance to avoid having to queue. Planning your day in advance will ensure you get to meet key exhibitors, attend the conference sessions you identify as useful to your business, and leave time to catch up with colleagues and industry peers.”

In the conference theatre, a programme of thought-provoking sessions will be led by panels of experts who will ignite discussion and debate on industry issues and the challenges faced by brokers and UK SMEs seeking access to commercial finance.

Norman Chambers, managing director of the NACFB, said: “The team is working incredibly hard to build upon the achievements of last year’s successful show. We’re working on some improvements to the app, adjusting the seminars to ensure greater audience participation, and tweaking the layout of the exhibition hall to make it easier to navigate.”

The conference host, sponsors and media partners will be announced over the coming weeks.
