Funding Future Growth series set to empower brokers across the UK
LONDON, Tuesday 12th March, 2024: The NACFB has revealed 2024 dates for the Funding Future Growth roadshow, a continuation of its acclaimed series of free broker events. Spanning four cities across three UK nations, the series aims to bring together commercial intermediaries, lenders, suppliers, and leading national trade bodies to explore growth opportunities for small businesses across the regions.
This year’s Funding Future Growth will kick off next month in Cardiff, before travelling to Glasgow, Leeds, and Newcastle later in the year. Each event will feature a panel of experts from national organisations, including the British Business Bank, UK Finance, and the FSB. They will share regional insights and discussions on both the challenges and opportunities for small businesses.
The following events are now open for free broker registration:
- Funding Future Growth: Cardiff – From 10am on Wednesday 17th April
- Funding Future Growth: Glasgow – From 10am on Tuesday 7th May
- Funding Future Growth: Leeds – October date TBC
- Funding Future Growth: Newcastle – From 10am on Tuesday 10th December
Norman Chambers, managing director of NACFB, shares his vision: “The idea of levelling up the UK’s regions and nations was a popular one a few years ago. Although Westminster’s enthusiasm for the concept may have drifted somewhat, the NACFB’s enthusiasm remains resolute.
“We know the power of a dynamic small business sector outside of London and the South East and the NACFB is continuing to place its time and energy where its mouth is. We are extremely proud to stand alongside our industry peers and showcase the success of collaboration in our community and build upon a foundation of regional growth backed by brokers.”
NACFB Patron lenders that wish to enhance their regional exposure at any of the four events, can register their interest with the events team here.
