Member brokers invited to submit entries
Established to celebrate and showcase the achievements of Members, the fifth annual NACFB Commercial Broker Awards is now open and accepting entries.
This year, 17 categories are on offer, each designed to honour broker excellence in a particular field:

- Commercial Broker Network of the Year
- Commercial Broker of the Year (1-5 Brokers) – NEW FOR 2024!
- Commercial Broker of the Year (6+ Brokers) – NEW FOR 2024!
- Buy-to-Let Mortgage Broker of the Year
- Cashflow Finance Broker of the Year
- Commercial Mortgage Broker of the Year
- Deal of the Year
- Development Finance Broker of the Year
- Digital Broker of the Year
- Industry Ambassador of the Year
- Intermediary Excellence Award – NEW FOR 2024!
- Invoice Finance Broker of the Year
- Rising Star of the Year
- Service Excellence Award
- Short-term Finance Broker of the Year
- SME Champion Award
Member brokerages of all sizes are encouraged to enter short, written submissions in as many categories as they deem appropriate. Some categories can be entered by Members more than once, such as Rising Star of the Year, Ambassador of the Year and Deal of the Year.
Members looking for guidance on how to position their submissions are encouraged to read the Association’s Five Top Tips to writing a compelling, award-winning entry.
The judging and voting process
The deadline to enter is 5pm on Monday 3rd June 2024, after which an independent panel of distinguished industry experts, chosen for their experience and insight, will review all submissions to create a shortlist of brokerages and individuals. The judging process is equally weighted, with the shortlist drawn on merit. The panel will be revealed shortly before judging commences. All NACFB board directors have recused themselves from entering this year’s awards.
Once the judges have made their selections, the shortlist will be put before Patron lenders for voting with the results from both cohorts combined to establish the eventual winners and highly commended entries.
Commenting on the entry process, NACFB managing director, Norman Chambers said: “Whether you are a sole trader broker, a regional player, or a national brokerage, the NACFB Commercial Broker Awards are the ideal way to demonstrate that you have a track record of success alongside the skills and expertise to grow in the coming months and years.”
The winners will be revealed and presented with their award trophies at an in-person ceremony on Friday 13th September at Lancashire Cricket Club, Manchester.
Early bird tickets, available to NACFB Member brokers only, are priced at £105+VAT each and £1,050+VAT per table of ten. The early bird discount for NACFB Member brokers is open until mid-July, after which, tickets will increase to the standard rate for Members to £190+VAT each or £1,900+VAT per table of ten.
Tickets for NACFB Patrons and Partners will also be available from mid-July and will be priced at £210+VAT a ticket and £2,100+VAT per table of ten.
All tickets include a welcome drink on arrival, a three-course meal, half a bottle of wine per person and entertainment.
