Association honours top Members at fifth annual awards ceremony
The Emirates Old Trafford cricket was a hub of excitement today (Friday 13th September) as the winners of the NACFB’s fifth Commercial Broker Awards were announced in Manchester.
The impressive event saw the very best of the intermediary-led lending industry take to the stage to receive their well-deserved accolades across 17 prestigious categories.
To add to the festivities, the occasion also featured a graduation ceremony for this year’s alumni of the NACFB’s Broker Academy. The young brokers were personally congratulated by the NACFB team during an intimate reception, before collecting their individual honours on stage.
Adding an extra layer of excitement to the event, Olympian Colin Jackson CBE not only presented trophies to the deserving winners, but also led a lively fundraising game of Heads or Tails in support of the Association’s 2024 charity partner, Air Ambulances UK.
All shortlisted firms, highly commended entries and overall winners were decided upon by combining the insights of an independent expert judging panel and votes from lender Patrons, details of the process can be found here.
The judges praised the high quality of submissions, noting that many NACFB Member firms demonstrated “high levels of innovation” and a “strong commitment to customer-focused solutions”. One firm was highlighted for developing young talent, while another was commended for navigating “complex lending proposals” and “fostering strong relationships with lenders”. Judges also noted the impressive use of technology and “customer-centric approaches”, with several brokerages “going beyond transactions” to provide deeper financial insights and exceptional service.
