The NACFB has revealed the shortlist for this year’s Commercial Lender Awards.
Formerly known as the NACFB Patron Awards, the shortlist of 73 firms was determined by an independent panel of judges chosen for their expertise across the commercial finance industry. This year, a record-breaking 270 entries were received from more than 80 NACFB Patron lenders and Partner suppliers all vying for a coveted award that seeks to recognise the very best in lending industry excellence.
Commenting, NACFB managing director Norman Chambers said: “The quality and quantity of submissions made both the deliberations and determining the shortlist very difficult for the judges and we thank them for their commitment and dedication to the process. I’d also like to wish all those shortlisted the very best of luck.”
The next step in the process is to invite NACFB Member brokers to vote for their preferred Patron or Partner in each category. Member voting opens on Tuesday 24th October for a week, closing at 5pm on Tuesday 31st October 2023. To ensure fairness in the voting process, NACFB Members who are eligible to vote will be sent a password to access the voting platform.
To establish the winner and the highly commended in each category, the judges’ selections will be combined with the Members’ votes. The winners will be revealed and presented with trophies at the awards ceremony on Thursday 30th November 2023, at the Westminster Park Plaza, hosted this year by comedian Dara Ó Briain.
“This year we’re delighted that NACFB Patrons from across the lending spectrum have been booking whole tables to ensure that they have a good mix of team members and brokers in their party. In addition to recognising lending excellence, they see the evening as a great way to deepen relationships and thank their teams for all their hard work throughout the year,” said NACFB events manager Becky McGarrity.
Patrons, Partners or Members who have not yet purchased tickets, are encouraged to do so as soon as possible here. Individual tickets and tables of 10 are available.
All shortlisted organisations are automatically placed into the NACFB Commercial Finance Lender of the Year category.
