Trade body recognised for outstanding membership support and the long-standing success of the Commercial Finance Expo
The National Association of Commercial Finance Brokers (NACFB) is proud to announce it has won two accolades at the 2025 Association Excellence Awards. The Association was named Winner of Best Membership Support, and secured Silver in the Best Longstanding Association Event category for the NACFB Commercial Finance Expo.
The Best Membership Support award recognises the Association’s commitment to serving brokers and lender Patrons through tailored guidance, advocacy, compliance support, thought leadership, and practical tools that strengthen the commercial finance community. Judges acknowledged the Association’s ability to deliver consistent, proactive support across all sizes and types of Member firms and Patrons.
The NACFB’s flagship Commercial Finance Expo, held annually at Birmingham’s NEC, earned Silver in the Best Longstanding Association Event category. Since its launch, the NACFB Expo has grown into the UK’s largest commercial finance trade show, bringing together thousands of brokers, lenders, service providers, and industry stakeholders. Judges noted the event’s relevance, strong exhibitor relationships, and continued innovation.
Commenting on the double recognition, NACFB CEO Jim Higginbotham said: “What makes this so meaningful is that it reflects who we are as a team. Supporting our Members isn’t a function or a department – it’s in everything we do, for every broker and Patron we represent. We don’t go the extra mile because it looks good, we do it because this industry genuinely matters to us. Whether it’s our events, finance or membership teams, there’s a real pride in serving the intermediary community and helping it thrive.”
The latest awards mark another milestone for the Association, which previously won Association of the Year at the 2023 Awards.
