With over 20 years’ restructuring experience, Phil provides advice to lenders and other stakeholders, and has carried out and advised on a number of company voluntary arrangements.

He has particular experience in implementing restructuring plans that often require the input of additional debt and equity funding. He also carries out pre-lending reviews, and fully appreciates the information required by lenders to conclude a transaction.

He regularly lectures for both the Association of Business Recovery Professionals and the Chartered Institute of Credit Management.

This can include raising finance for companies for development capital, acquisitions funding or working capital; working with management teams to effect a management buy-out of their business; preparing a business for sale, identifying the buyer and maximising value, and working with companies to identify and unlock acquisition opportunities and negotiate transactions.
