NACFB AGM 2025

Thank you for engaging with the NACFB’s 2025 Annual General Meeting. The AGM is your opportunity to reflect on progress, look ahead, and most importantly, have your say in shaping both your Association and the wider commercial finance community.

Having your say couldn’t be easier

All qualifying full Members (brokers) are eligible to vote, and we’ve made the process as simple as possible. There are two easy ways to take part:

  • Cast your vote by proxy right here today – Use the form to the right – it takes less than 30 seconds to complete. Supporting detail on each of the resolutions can be found below to help inform your decision.
  • Register to attend the live proceedings – You can also join us virtually on the day via the button below. During the event, you’ll hear from the NACFB team and be invited to cast your votes directly through this page.

There are two AGMs taking place on the same day. If you also hold PI cover through the NACFB Mutual, please be sure to cast your vote in the separate Mutual AGM, which can be done in much the same manner online here.

Further detail behind each of this year’s proposed resolutions

Ordinary Resolutions

Resolution 1

To receive the budget for the forthcoming financial year of the Company and to approve the Subscription for the year, as proposed by the Board.

Subscriptions for 2026: In 2025, Member fees were held at the previous year’s level. Like most organisations, the Association has been impacted by inflationary pressures and the rise in employers’ NICs. An increase in fees is recommended for 2026. The increase in membership fees equates to approximately 5%, remaining below the rate of inflation over the two-year period.

Membership fees will increase from £68.75 per month to £72.25 per month. Registered Individual (RI) fees will increase from £23.75 per month to £24.75 per month, with RI fees for the largest firms increasing from £18.75 per month to £19.75 per month. Patron fees will rise from £6,300 per annum to £6,800 per annum, with supplier Partner fees aligned at the same level.

Resolution 2

To appoint UHY Hacker Young as the auditors for the financial year ending 31st December 2025 and to authorise the Directors to determine their remuneration.

Appointment of Auditors: The board has considered the appointment of auditors for the forthcoming year, and has taken into consideration whether auditor rotation would be appropriate. Whilst UHY Hacker Young LLP have been engaged since the financial year ending 31st December 2016, the board did not consider it necessary to tender to alternative audit firms at this stage.
